Part 1 of this 2 Part series navigated through the realities of our ability to control our thoughts and choose our emotions. By emanating an emotion, we can create our vibration.
Everything boils down to energy. Our vibrations and our health conditions are actually linked. (See Part 1)
How do we raise our vibrations? By being the energy, flow and in the place of love that is our truth. Sounds all very nice, hey? BUT HOW? I hear you ask.
Being in alignment with your authentic self really allows you to show up at your best and feel GOOD. When you align with your truth, you raise your energetic vibration.

Here are 11 easy ways to raise your vibration today.
Perhaps the most obvious solution, but a serious game changer! Meditation can shift even the lowest vibration as well as returning you to your heart centre by simply grounding your mind and body. It recharges your energy, centres you and ensures you take care of yourself. A prayer or meditation can raise a person’s vibration 10-15Hz. (See Part 1 for how we measure the energy of people, emotions and vibrations in Hertz.)
Carl Jung proposed that meditation creates a ripple effect on the ocean of collective vibrations of those around you through mediating. This meditative energy shift and how it affects not only yourself but the community on a broader scale has been scientifically studied, proven and published – it is called the Maharishi Effect. An alpha brain wave is emitted in meditation and this actually permeates and effects the atmosphere around you. It has the power to raise the vibration of more than just yourself.
I aim to meditate every day for at least 15 minutes to quiet my *sometimes* wildly overactive mind. Stillness is the key.
2. BE IN NATURE
GET OUTSIDE PEOPLE! This one is my favourite! Allow those ions to flow straight from Mother Earth herself. These energy neutralising ions are greatest near (or in) the ocean, walking on the earth and grass with bare feet (called Earthing) and immersed in the trees. For similar benefits at home, fill your house with plants or invest in Himalayan Natural Crystal Rock Salt Lamps, which emit ions to neutralise those from all our electronics and appliances.
Good quality Himalayan Salt Lamps have a bounty of benefits, including alleviating hayfever, assisting breathing and increasing productivity and alertness. I have two in my home and I love that they also create a beautiful mood light in the evening.
3. THINK POSITIVE THOUGHTS
Negative thought patterning can sneak in and can have a cascade effect, dropping our frequency on average 12mHz. At this lower vibration, we keep emitting the low vibes and often call in more negativity without even realising it. So it’s vital to stop these cheeky thoughts in their tracks.

Positive thoughts can raise our frequency 10mHz. While you don’t want to suppress the truth and feelings surrounding a ‘not ideal’ situation that totally STINKS we DO eventually have the choice to place a positive spin on any situation. So spin it, see the good and refocus when you’re ready. Positive thoughts create a more positive environment and future.
4. BE IN A SPACE OF GRATITUDE
Gratitude is the “anti-anxiety” treatment for the mind. Gratitude and fear CANNOT exist at the same time. You can make neurobiological changes in your system by shifting your focus to gratitude. In fact, the vibration of pure appreciation is even closer to the high vibration emotion of love than gratitude.
Dr Joe Dispenza’s 7 Day Challenge includes daily, conscious gratitude. He suggests allowing 10 minutes at the end of your day to really FEEL grateful in every cell of your body and give thanks for the life you have. Take time each day to devote your attention to what is thriving in your life.
I journal for 10-15 minutes each night before sleeping, describing all the things I am grateful and thankful for in that day, and in my life. And in the morning, I wake with an Attitude of Gratitude. “Thank you universe for another day and opportunity to explore all the fun and joy that life has to offer!”
5. YOUR VIBE ATTRACTS YOUR TRIBE
One thing that has completely shifted my life in a positive way is being around like-minded souls. Whatever it is you are into, surround yourself with people who have the same interests as much as possible so that you can bounce off each other and inspire each other to greatness.
My new surfing crew are totally about JOY FACTOR, which is such an amazing tribe I’m super grateful to be a part of. My weekly meditation group, lead by the beautiful soulful Sarah Roach in Dunsborough, grounds my thoughts, changes my vibration and also teaches mindfulness through Hindu stories and Kundalini Mudra to evoke the energy and vibration we desire.
Ask yourself how those around you inspire you. How do they make you feel about the world around you? Choose your tribe carefully, as you vibe will follow. AND, your vibe too will attract your tribe in return. Like attracts like.
6. BE LOVE. CHOOSE LOVE. COME FROM A PLACE OF LOVE.

I touched on this in Part 1 – Marianne Williamson’s A Course in Miracles teaches that Love is our Birthright. Gabrielle Bernstein is my hero when it comes to creating a modern day version of this Course for us to work with. Gabrielle’s book The Universe has your Back is amazing and I highly recommend reading it. It guides you to trust, surrender, expect miracles and return to love.

To calibrate and call in love, follow and pursue all the things that light you up. Follow your bliss. Revel in the moment of each day doing what you love. Even if it’s as simple as a cup of tea in the sunshine. Fill up your own self love cup first, then overflow with love allowing your own glow and love to light up the world. Choose to see everything from a place of love.
7. TUNE IN & BREATHE
Your energy affects those around you. Stop and tune in to how you feel. Is that what you wish to project? Is it really who you are, truthfully or are you caught up in your head or ‘having a moment’? You have the power to adjust and change that in an instant. You can choose again.
If you feel like you’re in a strange or off-kilter space, simply stop and count to 10. Take a deep breath in for 10 counts and then slowly out for 10 counts. This can reorganise your feelings. Shift those vibes and lean on the presence of your true energy. Allow your vibes to project the right mojo! Remember your vibes are speaking louder than your words.
8. ENERGY HEALING
Deviating down the alternative track, energy healing not only raises your vibration but actually goes direct to the root of the issue – no more scratching around at surface level band-aid solutions. It can address old pains, ancestral patterns passed down through your family, imbalances to your energy fields and open up blockages.
Being a science nut, I must admit I did NOT believe in this stuff… until I saw and felt changes. 9. ELEVATE WITH ESSENTIAL OILS

10. SET A POWERFUL INTENTION
Dr Joe Dispenza says, “When you wake up each morning, ask yourself; What is the greatest ideal of myself that I can be today?” I covered his incredible work in the quantum field in Part 1 and his 7 Day Challenge really hones in on the fact that how you start your day is the most powerful way to create your reality and raise your vibration.
Setting an intention can be as simple as stating to yourself that you’re going to feel good today. Or that you’re going to let life flow and focus on being productive. It could be that you are ready to receive miracles now! Feel into what your greatest ideal is for you. When you make this statement, you release fear that blocks you from tuning in to the vibration you seek. Set your feeling and thoughts to a vibration aligned with that which you desire. Stay committed to your positive intention (write it on a Post it!). You’ll raise your energetic vibration and begin to experience the energy to support your wishes.
11. HIGH VIBRATIONAL FOODS
We are what we eat! I absolutely believe that food is our medicine. This concept was first created back in 460BC by Hippocrates, which I talk about in WHY Essential Oils in Dunsborough & Beyond. Did you know that processed and canned foods have a total energy frequency of zero which can greatly diminish a person’s own frequency?
Honour your body and your vibration by consuming high vibrational foods – look for colour, life and freshness! High vibe foods include green veg like broccoli and dark leafy greens like spinach and kale. Raw nuts and seeds are great, as are raw herbs like basil, mint and coriander. Wild berries and raw cacao are also super vibrational choices. Keep foods such as meat, poultry and sugar to a minimum as well as foods that are highly processed or microwaved. White rices and flours are also vibrational suckers. They have little or no good vibrational energy to add to your body.

At the end of the day, this is all your responsibility.

You have the power to take responsibility for your own thoughts and actions – and how you show up. When you tap into your power and learn how to shift your vibration, you will notice a difference.
You will feel and see things change, for your higher good. And it will FEEL GOOD! Joyful, energised, inspired, abundant and at ease. You will be pulled into a vortex of more of that vibration, magnetically.
Like oscillations of a bowed string, the notes we play do matter.
Raise your vibration in a grounded way. See through the eyes of gratitude, get outside, slow down and make the choices that light you up. Be aware of what’s going on inside you and around you. Surround yourself with what you enjoy in life. Fill your mind with positive thoughts and set good intentions every day.
Seeing through the eyes of love and carving out time to pursue what gives you utter joy in your life is of paramount importance. Make it a priority, like your life depends on it. Because as it turns out, your health actually does depend on it. It is all within you. That is where you will find your Good Vibes.

My personal opinion is that in most instances, our life path unfolds in our choices to harness our vibrations around what lights us up. It is about our energy and our ability to do what we love. Do the things that fill you with joy like a dancing baby goat! Sit in that high flying, high flowing vibration of joy and be the light. BE THAT OF STEADFAST LOVE! It all manifests if we feel we deserve it and feel worthy of it. <3
